Academy Policy
On Court
-
All first time participants at the Lincoln Park Tennis Center location will be required by the County of Hudson to sign an “Amateur Athletic Waiver And Release Of Liability” form before stepping onto the court.
Participants who failed to hand in the waiver will NOT be permitted on the court.
-
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class to ensure your child is ready to begin on time. Punctuality is essential for a smooth start and allows all students to get the most out of their lesson. Late arrivals disrupt the class and affect the experience of other students, so we kindly ask for your cooperation in being on time.
-
To ensure the best experience on the court, proper athletic shoes preferably non-marking soles are required at all times.
Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate workout attire suitable for physical activity. Additionally, to prevent loss, clearly label all of your child’s belongings—including their racquet, clothing, backpack, and lunch box—so they can be easily identified if misplaced.
-
HTA is firmly committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. We uphold a zero-tolerance policy against abusive language, including racial slurs, homophobic remarks, bullying, and any form of hate speech. Such language is not only offensive but also harmful, violating our core values of respect, equality, and inclusion.
Delay/Refund
-
In the event of inclement weather, parents will be notified of class cancellations at least 2 hours in advance. Notifications will be sent via [email/text/app notification. If a class is canceled due to weather, a gift certificate/credit back will be given.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all students.
